Cultural Bodywork is an ancient healing art from the native cultures of Oceania that involves physical and energetic bodywork. It is also called "the massage of the ocean". However, the term "massage" is not all encompassing, as the technique does not only bring physical relaxation, but also works on a deeper level - on a psychological and spiritual level.

Cultural Bodywork combines the knowledge, philosophy and principles of three cultures: the Hawaiian way of healing, the groundedness and strength of the Maori, and the sensitivity and attunement of the Aboriginal people.

What makes a Cultural Bodywork massage so different from others?

The constant movement, reminiscent of the ocean waves - when you lie on the table, you have the feeling that more than one pair of hands is working with you, creating ripples on several parts of your body at the same time.

Respect for your body - only the part of the body being worked on is ever exposed, the rest of the body is covered, giving a feeling of safety and nurturing.

Deep attention and listening - the speed of the movement, the intensity of the pressure and the points of detail are communicated by your body itself, so I am in complete silence and concentration at all times to perceive and follow its guidance.

Respect for your uniqueness - the way to work is chosen according to the current state your body, emotions and soul require, so each treatment is unique and different from the last.

Love for the work - I love every movement I do and you can feel it with every stroke I make.

Openness to messages from the body and soul - through feeling accepted and open, your body can also speak different messages (about what is happening to you on different levels) and if you are interested, I will share them with you.

The effects of Cultural Bodywork:

• relaxes muscle tensions and spasms,

• strengthens connective tissues and joints,

• stimulates blood flow and the lymphatic system,

• releases energy and emotional blockages,

• accelerates the elimination of harmful substances from the body.
